1. Limited Warranty

CU CABLE warrants that all wire and cable products sold through our website are free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and proper installation for a period of 12 months from the date of original end-user purchase.

This limited warranty is extended only to the original end-user purchaser and is non-transferable.

2. What This Warranty Covers

CU CABLE warrants that our products will:

• Conform to applicable GB/T and IEC specifications

• Be free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship

• Perform as specified under normal operating conditions

This limited warranty does not cover damage or defects caused by:

• Improper installation — failure to follow applicable electrical codes (NEC, local codes) and installation guidelines

• Overloading — exceeding the cable's rated ampacity or voltage

• Physical abuse — cuts, crushing, kinking, or mechanical damage

• Environmental factors — exposure to extreme temperatures, moisture, chemicals, UV radiation, or corrosive conditions beyond the cable's rated specifications

• Improper storage — damage from improper storage before installation

• Unauthorized modifications — repairs, alterations, or modifications not authorized by CU CABLE

• Normal wear and tear — deterioration from normal aging or use

• Third-party components — failure of connectors, terminations, or accessories not supplied by CU CABLE

• Misapplication — use of the product in a manner or environment for which it was not designed or rated

4. Warranty Period Details

Note: Industry standards for cable warranties typically range from 1 to 25 years. Our standard 12-month warranty covers manufacturing defects, while the cable's service life under proper conditions is expected to far exceed this period.

5. How to File a Warranty Claim

To file a warranty claim, please follow these steps:

Step 2: Provide Required Information

Please include the following with your claim:

• Order number or proof of purchase

• Product model and specification (e.g., BV 2.5mm², 100m)

• Detailed description of the defect or issue

• Photos or video clearly showing the alleged defect

• Installation date and details (if applicable)

• Quantity affected

Step 3: Claim Review

CU CABLE will review your claim and may request additional information or samples for inspection. We reserve the right to inspect the product in person or request that the product be returned to us for examination.

Step 4: Resolution

Upon verification of a valid warranty claim, CU CABLE will, at our sole discretion:

• Replace the defective product with an equivalent product, or

• Repair the defective product, or

• Issue a refund for the purchase price of the defective product

CU CABLE will cover reasonable shipping costs for warranty returns that are approved as valid manufacturing defects. If the claim is determined to be invalid, the customer is responsible for all return shipping costs.

6. Exclusions and Limitations

6.1 No Other Warranties

THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

6.2 Limitation of Liability

CU CABLE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE OUR PRODUCTS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF USE, DAMAGE TO PROPERTY, OR PERSONAL INJURY.

6.3 Installation Costs Not Covered

This warranty does not cover any costs associated with:

• Cable removal or reinstallation

• Labor costs for troubleshooting or replacement

• Downtime or loss of service

• Shipping or handling fees for warranty claims determined to be invalid

7. Warranty Void Conditions

This limited warranty becomes void if:

• The product has been repaired, altered, or modified without CU CABLE's written authorization

• The product has been subjected to negligent handling, abuse, or misuse

• The product has been installed in violation of applicable electrical codes or the manufacturer's instructions

• The product has been used in an application or environment beyond its rated specifications

• The product's original labels, serial numbers, or markings have been removed or altered

• The product was not purchased directly from CU CABLE or an authorized distributor

8. Extended Service Life

While our warranty covers manufacturing defects for 12 months, CU CABLE products are manufactured to GB/T and IEC standards, which are designed for a service life of 15–30 years under normal operating conditions. Our cables are:
